Dubbing Templates
What are dubbing templates?
Dubbing templates let you pre-configure which target languages and voice settings are applied every time you process a video. Instead of selecting dubbing options manually for each upload, you define them once in a template and reuse it across all your content.
Create template → Choose languages → Configure voice settings → Apply to uploads
Create a dubbing template
Go to Settings → Templates
From your profile menu, go to Settings and then to the Templates tab.
Profile → Settings → Templates
Create or edit a template
Click "+ Add template" to create a new one, or the edit icon next to an existing template.
Configure the dubbing section
In the Dubbing section of the template:
- Enable dubbing — Check the dubbing toggle to activate automatic dubbing for videos processed with this template.
- Select target languages — Click "+ Add language" and choose one or more languages from the list of 40+ supported languages.
- Voice cloning — Enable this option if you want the dubbed audio to preserve the original speaker's vocal identity in each target language. Voice cloning requires proper rights authorization.
- Mute original voice — Enable this option to replace the original audio track entirely with the dubbed version. When disabled, the original voice plays at a lower volume under the dubbed audio.
Save the template
Click "Submit" to save the template with your dubbing configuration.
Apply a dubbing template to your videos
Upload a video
Go to Library → + Upload assets to upload a new video.
Select the template
In the "Template" field, choose the template that includes your dubbing configuration. You can click "View details" to confirm the dubbing settings and target languages are included.
Process the video
The video will be transcribed and automatically dubbed into all target languages defined in the template. Each language generates a separate dubbed audio track.
Template settings reference
| Setting | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|

Combine dubbing with other template features
A single template can include dubbing alongside other processing options:
- Custom vocabulary — Dictionaries are applied during transcription, before the dubbing step. This ensures proper names and technical terms are correctly transcribed and then accurately translated.
- Subtitling — Auto-translate subtitles into the same or different languages as your dubbing targets.
- Branding — Apply intros, outros, overlays, and subtitle styles to the same video.
